The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is one of four departments in the Faculty of Engineering. Faculty and staff in the department support and foster the educational and research pursuits of undergraduate and graduate engineering students, while providing the best student experience. The Department aspires to become one of the top Civil Engineering Departments in the world. It will do so by relentlessly pursuing excellent research, faculty profile and graduate and undergraduate education that engages students.

Course Description:Principles of model development and solution for environmental systems including river and lake water quality, groundwater flow and contamination, and atmospheric pollution. Application of these principles using a range of numerical techniques, including current commercial software packages, through all stages of the modeling process from conceptualization to calibration and validation. Extra Information: 3 lecture hours, 3 design lab/tutorial hours.

Labs: Wed, 10:30am-1:30pm

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for all activities associated with the successful delivery of the course, including but not limited to: developing, preparing, and delivering the course; setting and marking examinations, assessing the academic work of students, and reporting grades.

Candidates must have qualifications appropriate to the course(s) for which application is being made and a demonstrated record of performance in teaching.
