University of Waterloo is seeking a First-Year Engineering Support Specialist to tutor first-year students in labs, tutorials, and one-on-one sessions. You will hire and mentor tutors, manage assessment processes, and support lab operations across the First Year Engineering program.
The role focuses on tutoring in programming, circuits, chemistry, algebra, calculus, and physics, with responsibilities spanning grading, mentoring, and class scheduling.

This is a Career Path position. The final level will be determined based on demonstrated skills and experience.
Primary Purpose Support First Year Engineering activities: tutoring students in labs, tutorials and one-on-one; marking exams and assignments; hiring and management of First-Year Tutors; operation of the Multimedia and WEEF Labs.
