Job Details:

• Location: 501 Kensington Ave, Estevan SK
• Working Hours: 35 weekly hours
• Scheduled Shift: full-time, Monday-Sunday availability required; exact schedule varies depending upon needs (35 hours guaranteed)
• Pay rate: $21.20 per hour

The Utility Courier is responsible for picking up and delivering customer packages to meet daily schedules and resolving issues as they arise. The role also covers for absent couriers on any shift.

Responsibilities

1. Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily schedules.
2. Scan packages/mail upon receipt, delivery, or return to the depot.
3. Resolve problems on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers.
4. Conduct daily vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic-Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR).
5. Report any inspection failures to the unit manager.

Requirements

• Valid non-probationary Driver's License
• Clean Driving Abstract (please upload a current driver's abstract with your resume)
• Successful completion of written & road tests
• Defensive Driving course completion
• Courier Methods training course completion
• Ability to read maps and good geographical sense
• Experience in courier methods and/or related work
• Proper scan and load techniques
• Ability to lift/carry up to 70 lbs.
• Criminal record check and employment verification
• Police Clearance Certificate when required

Experience

Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract are required to operate delivery vehicles.
