Job summary

Randstad Canada is hiring experienced Full-Time Forklift Operators for our logistics client in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The role involves safely operating sit-down counterbalance and reach forklifts, moving and loading shipments in a busy warehouse near Bayer's Lake.

Both day and night shifts are available with a starting hourly pay of $22.00–$22.50. Four consecutive workdays per week and a forklift premium of $1.50/hour are included.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience is required.
• Experience operating sit-down counterbalance and reach trucks.
• Valid forklift operator certification/licence as required by the employer and applicable workplace requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down counterbalance and reach forklifts.
• Move, lift and transport products and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Pick, move and replenish inventory in designated storage locations.

Available Shifts

• DAY SHIFT : 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM- $22.00/hour
• NIGHT SHIFT : 10:30 PM – 9:00 AM- $22.50/hour

Available Schedules

• Monday to Thursday 10:30pm to 9:00am Night
• Tuesday to Friday 10:30pm to 9:00am Night
• Wednesday to Saturday 9:30am to 8:00pm Day
• Wednesday to Saturday 10:30pm to 9:00am Night
• Friday to Monday 9:30am to 8:00pm Day
• Sunday to Wednesday 10:30pm to 9:00am Night

Additional schedules may be available depending on operational requirements.
