Job summary

Guillevin in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is seeking a customer-focused Counter salesperson for a regular, full-time role. Daytime hours Monday to Friday with a known customer base and opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing payments, answering questions, and keeping the counter clean and engaging. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Assist warehouse or sales staff as needed and maintain product knowledge.

Here’s a typical day:

• When customers come to the counter, greet them in a friendly manner, go find the desired products and process the payment.

• Answer a wide range of questions, suggest complementary or alternative products as needed.

• Answer phone calls in a professional manner and redirect them if necessary.

• Keep the counter clean and organized to optimize the customer experience, as well as to provide effective marketing.

• Provide assistance to warehouse or sales personnel when needed.

• Maintain skills and knowledge of product lines and systems used.
