Wolseley Canada is seeking a Counter Sales Associate at the Timmins location to provide exceptional sales and service support as the first point of contact for customers. You will handle inquiries, prepare quotations, and coordinate order fulfillment while building lasting relationships within a wholesale environment.

The role requires customer-focused professionalism with knowledge of HVAC and plumbing products, strong communication skills, and computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in wholesale or distribution is required.
• Local HVAC and Plumbing knowledge is an asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• AS400 experience is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Serve as first point of contact for customers at the Timmins counter.
• Provide sales and service support, prepare quotations, coordinate order fulfillment, and build lasting customer relationships.
• Respond to inquiries in person, by phone, or email.
• Maintain counter stock and assist in the warehouse as needed.

We’re looking for a customer-focused professional with wholesale distribution experience, strong product knowledge, and excellent communication skills. In this role, you will assist customers with product inquiries, prepare quotations, coordinate order fulfillment, and build lasting customer relationships while contributing to the success of the branch.The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (subject to change).What you will do:As the first point of contact you will be required to offer prompt product knowledge and information to customers in a professional mannerRespond to customers in a timely manner in person, by phone or emailPrepare small order quotations on urgent contracting jobsPerform necessary product research in catalogues and onlineVerify all items are available for the customer as ordered and scheduledResponsible for building positive relationships with customers and associatesTake initiative to maintain stock of the counter area as neededOffer help and assistance in the warehouse if requiredWhat you will bring:Previous technical experience in sales or customer service in wholesale or distribution requiredLocal market knowledge with HVAC and Plumbing will be an assetGeneral computer skills including Microsoft Office required.
