Relativity is seeking a Counsel, Commercial Transactions to support its commercial contracting function and strategic business initiatives from a Vancouver-based/remote-hybrid setup.

The role requires 4–6 years of experience in tech transactions, with strong negotiation skills for SaaS, software, and cloud services. You will collaborate with multiple teams and leverage AI-enabled tools to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active US bar membership.
• 4–6 years of experience in-house or at a law firm supporting technology transactions.
• Experience negotiating SaaS, software, cloud services, professional services and enterprise commercial agreements.
• Strong MS Office, Salesforce, and contract management software skills.
• Experience with AI-enabled products and emerging technology issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations for software, SaaS, and cloud services agreements and AI-related offerings.
• Provide legal advice on commercial issues and manage a high volume of contracts.
• Engage with customers to ensure clear communication and delivery.
• Improve standard forms and processes to align with business needs.
