CGL is seeking a Counsel, Client Solutions (Regulatory) to support its property and casualty insurance business. The role provides general legal advice to stakeholders, drafts and negotiates contracts, and guides privacy and compliance initiatives.
Ideal candidates will have a JD or LL.B. and at least five years of in-house legal experience in the insurance sector, with familiarity in both personal and commercial lines. This is a hybrid role with two days in the office.

As a Counsel, Client Solutions (Regulatory) you will provide general legal advice and direction to various stakeholders, with an emphasis on supporting our property and casualty insurance business. You will support a range of strategic projects, offer guidance and assistance to our compliance and privacy teams, and review, draft and negotiate contracts.
Expected salary/hourly range $104,717 - $154,700+
The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
