You are an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Cost Consultant with 6+ years' experience, seeking your next career step or currently working in a similar role within a comparable environment. You are motivated to join a growing and dynamic team.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, driven, and capable of working independently and as part of a team. In this impactful role, you will provide leadership and direction, actively embedding and promoting Turner & Townsend’s purpose, values, and vision.

Job Description

As a Quantity Surveyor/Cost Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing the development of cost estimates for projects from concept through execution.
  2. Analyzing tender returns to ensure clients receive value for money.
  3. Engaging in value engineering discussions to identify the best solutions for clients.
  4. Providing life cycle cost and sustainability advice.
  5. Benchmarking for validation and target-setting on major projects.
  6. Taking a lead role in interfacing with clients and other consultants at all project stages.
  7. Working within project teams to ensure client goals are managed and achieved.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in cost estimating across all project phases.
  • A recognized university degree (or equivalent) in Engineering/Construction Management or a relevant field.
  • Membership in relevant professional organizations is a bonus (CIQS/RICS).
  • Knowledge and proficiency with cost estimating tools.
