Who are you?

You are an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Cost Consultant with 6+ years' experience, seeking your next step or are currently working in a similar role within a comparable environment. You’re motivated to join a growing and dynamic team.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, driven, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. In this impactful role, you will be providing leadership and direction, actively embedding and promoting the purpose, values, and vision of Turner & Townsend.

Job Description

As a Quantity Surveyor/Cost Consultant you will be involved in:

  1. Manage the development of cost estimates for projects from concept through execution
  2. Analyse tender returns to ensure the client receives value for money
  3. Engage in value engineering discussions to identify the best solution available for the client
  4. Provide life cycle cost and sustainability advice
  5. Benchmark for validation and target-setting on major projects
  6. Taking a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
  7. Work in project teams to ensure the clients goals are managed and achieved
Qualifications
  1. 6+ years of experience in cost estimating positions across all project phases
  2. A recognized university degree (or equivalent) in Engineering/Construction Management or a relevant subject
  3. Membership in relevant professional organizations is a bonus (CIQS/RICS)
  4. Knowledge and proficiency with cost estimating tools
