Job summary

Eminence Organic Skin Care is seeking a Product Development Coordinator to support formulation planning, testing, and project coordination at the Vancouver/Burnaby site. The role involves on-site work with a lab facility, sample management, and collaboration with the Innovation team.

The ideal candidate has a BS in a relevant science field and 1–2 years in R&D/product development, with strong organizational and communication skills. Core hours are 8am–4:30pm PST, four days on-site per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology or other relevant applied science disciplines
• 1–2 years of work experience within an R&D / Product Development capacity
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Excellent organization skills and ability to manage time effectively
• Strong problem identification and resolution skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team environment
• Demonstrate ability to take initiative
• Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed

Responsibilities

• Support planning, development, and testing of cosmetic and OTC formulas.
• Coordinate sample shipments and testing schedules with labs.
• Maintain database of test reports, results and specifications; update formula trackers.
• Prepare post-launch analysis and make recommendations to streamline future developments.
• Research ingredients and technologies and summarize findings as needed.
• Coordinate product focus groups and surveys to provide insights for proposed products.
