Job summary

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent education/experience.
• Food Safe Level 1 certificate or provincial equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables per schedule.
• Prepare, cook or pan food as per prep schedule.
• Measure ingredients for the production area.
• Store food following safety procedures and dating.
• Portion meals and dietary trays as per schedule.
• Load and deliver meal service carts to pods; collect as needed.
• Perform general cleaning and maintain tidy storage areas.
• Operate equipment safely and follow hygiene practices.
• Follow management instructions and adapt as required.
