THE ROLE

The Corporate Sales, Outreach, and Events Coordinator plans, organizes and coordinates corporate services (marketing, sponsorship, communication etc) activities for local Personnel Support Programs (PSP). They develop and coordinate the local corporate services program and strategy. They coordinate and work PSP Information Kiosks. The Corporate Sales, Outreach, and Events Coordinator liaises with local community and business organizations and develops and maintains data bases information and media packages. They identify, solicit, develop and implement local corporate services and negotiate agreements with customers.

Qualifications Needed

Education, Certifications and Licenses

College diploma or certificate in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, Web Design, Web Development, Graphic Arts, or a related field, AND several years of experience in marketing, or in a related field

A valid Driver’s License (Ontario)

Experience

In delivering sponsorship and sales solicitation, event marketing and advertising campaigns services

In website layout and design

In developing web ready graphics and desktop publishing

In developing marketing, sponsorship and communication services strategies

In the marketing of community programs and services and promotion of partnerships within communities

In negotiating and managing contracts

In the preparation of advertising campaigns

In budget administration

In initiating market research studies and the analysis of their findings

Competencies

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
