As an Events Coordinator you will be responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of various company events and branding programs within the Brand Organization. Your goal will be to provide logistical and administrative support to the Event Planners. This would include coordination of the development and distribution of printed collateral and managing workflow processes. Your success will be measured on your ability to effectively manage the logistics, purchase processes and project administration of the events communication’s activities.
Kindly note this is a fixed term position for approximately 12 months.

Your Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development and execution of company events taking direction from and collaborating with the Event Manager and Event Planners
- Coordinate the internal communication brief process, involving the receipt, filing, tracking and timely flow of communications briefs from Event Manager and Planner through to the communications team
- Assist in organizing, planning, preparing and executing employee events, per tactical event plan including coordination of registration, staffing at events, materials required, logistics and attendance
- Work with the team on the design of events, content, brand positioning
- Control and manage the storage and movement of event and promotional materials
- Manage the communication purchase process and tracking, providing PO’s, processing invoices, tracking budgets, etc
Your Skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing, event planning, administrative support
- Proven time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills
- Able to set priorities based on business need
- Experience with company brand standards
Your Experience
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience a related field
