Job summary

Hypertec in Montreal, QC is seeking a Corporate Financial Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team. You will consolidate monthly results, build financial models, and support budgeting and forecasting to drive decision-making.

The ideal candidate has a Finance or Accounting degree, 3–4 years of experience, advanced Excel and ERP/reporting system experience, and strong French communication. You’ll contribute to audits and process improvements in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA designation an asset.
• 3–4 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills with financial modeling and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation in a multi-entity environment, including foreign exchange translation.
• Experience with financial reporting and consolidation systems (Vena, Adaptive Insights) is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems; SAP Business One an asset.
• Experience with Power BI is an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with внимание to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in French.
• Ability to address multiple issues in a high-paced, rapidly changing environment with good time management.
• Ability to work independently and proactively improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate monthly financial results of Hypertec Group entities, including foreign currency translation and intercompany eliminations.
• Build, maintain, and improve financial models and templates using Vena Solutions and other tools to support month end, budgeting and forecasting.
• Conduct analyses for internal and external reporting packages (MD&A, quarterly stakeholder reports), including variance and trend analysis.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Extract, transform, and interpret financial data from SAP, Vena, and other systems to create insights for decision-making.
• Support the external audit process, including preparation of annual financial statements and necessary supporting documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and analyses as required to support business objectives.

What You’ll Be Contributing:

• Participate in ad hoc projects and analyses as required to support business objectives

What Sets You Apart:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA designation an asset
• 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation in a multi-entity environment, including foreign exchange translation
• Experience with financial reporting and consolidation systems (e.g., Vena, Adaptive Insights) is an asset
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems; knowledge of SAP Business One an asset
• Experience with Power BI is an asset
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in French
• Must be able to address multiple issues in a high-paced, rapidly changing environment, requiring effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
