Job summary

Hypertec in Montreal, Quebec is seeking a Corporate Financial Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team. You will consolidate monthly results across entities, translate FX, and support month-end and budgeting using Vena, SAP, and other tools.

You bring a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with 3–4 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency in French. This role offers a hybrid work model, competitive benefits, and opportunities to contribute to a growing, global company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA designation an asset.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills with financial modeling and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation in a multi-entity environment, including FX translation.
• Experience with financial reporting and consolidation systems (Vena, Adaptive Insights) is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems; SAP Business One an asset.
• Experience with Power BI is an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in French.
• Ability to work independently and proactively improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate monthly financial results of Hypertec Group entities, including foreign currency translation and intercompany eliminations.
• Build, maintain, and improve financial models and templates using Vena Solutions to support month end, budgeting and forecasting.
• Conduct analyses for internal and external reporting packages (MD&A, quarterly stakeholder reports), including variance and trend analyses.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Extract and interpret financial data from SAP, Vena and other systems to create actionable insights.
• Support external audit processes and preparation of annual financial statements and documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting and automation.
• Participate in ad hoc projects to support business objectives.

What You’ll Be Contributing:

• Consolidate monthly financial results of Hypertec Group entities, including foreign currency translation and intercompany eliminations
• Build, maintain, and improve financial models and templates using Vena Solutions and other financial tools to support month end, budgeting and forecasting
• Conduct comprehensive financial analyses for internal and external reporting packages (MD&A, quarterly stakeholder reports), including variance analysis, trend analysis, and other key performance insights
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Extract, transform, and interpret financial data from multiple systems (SAP, Vena, etc.) to create meaningful insights for decision-making
• Support the external audit process, including the preparation of annual financial statements and necessary supporting documentation
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting, leveraging financial systems and other automation tools
• Participate in ad hoc projects and analyses as required to support business objectives

What Sets You Apart:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA designation an asset
• 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation in a multi-entity environment, including foreign exchange translation
• Experience with financial reporting and consolidation systems (e.g., Vena, Adaptive Insights) is an asset
