Fuze HR Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Full-Cycle Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting for a construction company within a larger group. The role requires taking ownership of the entire accounting cycle, working independently, and ensuring financial activities are accurate and timely.

Key tasks include A/P, A/R, GL, payroll, and month-end reporting, with additional involvement in budgeting and year-end prep. A hybrid work arrangement is available for the right candidate.

Formación

• 5–7 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in construction.
• Experience managing the full accounting cycle independently.
• Familiarity with lien waivers, notices of contract, and related docs.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with Hubdoc.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the full accounting cycle: A/P, A/R, GL, and bookkeeping.
• Perform month-end reconciliations and prepare financial reports.
• Process payroll and maintain payroll records.
• Coordinate accounting activities and ensure timely invoicing, payments, and collections.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting docs.
• Handle construction-related docs: notices of contract, lien waivers, releases.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on payments.
• Assist year-end activities and liaise with external accountants.
• Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial planning.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting.

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Full-Cycle Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting operations for a construction company operating under a larger construction group.

This is a standalone position ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of the entire accounting cycle, working independently, and ensuring that all financial activities are completed accurately and on time. The successful candidate will be organized, dependable, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple accounting functions without a dedicated accounting team.

There is also an opportunity to contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and year-end preparation as part of the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bookkeeping.
• Perform month-end reconciliations and prepare financial reports.
• Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records.
• Coordinate accounting activities and ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Manage construction-related documentation, including notices of contract, lien waivers, and releases.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding payments and documentation.
• Support year-end accounting activities and liaise with external accountants as required.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial planning.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting practices and company procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5–7 years of hands‑on accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong experience managing the full accounting cycle independently.
• Previous experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bookkeeping, and month‑end processes.
• Familiarity with construction accounting, including lien waivers, notices of contract, and related documentation.
• Strong Excel skills and experience using accounting software, including Hubdoc.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and collaborative approach.

Nice to Have

• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and year‑end financial preparation.
• A proactive and strategic approach to improving accounting processes.
• Experience working within a construction group or multi‑entity environment.
