Job description

As a member of the Corporate Communications team, the Corporate Communications Advisor, Talent Brand supports the promotion of Ledcor’s employer brand and employment opportunities to the external market. In this role, you will provide ongoing coordination with Ledcor’s recruitment team and support Talent marketing efforts through social media and targeted advertising.

Some key responsibilities will include collaborating on hiring priorities and strategy; developing content for various social media and digital advertising platforms; analyzing performance metrics and producing reports; monitoring engagement with Ledcor content; and responding to inquiries.

The ideal candidate has a passion for digital communications, excellent communication skills, an understanding of social media best practices, and knowledge of recruitment strategies. Come join our dynamic Communication team in Vancouver, BC or Edmonton, AB!

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinates all Ledcor social media recruitment content, including content creation, scheduling, posting, monitoring, and interaction/engagement with external applicants.
  2. Supports with content creation for digital and print advertising: including newspaper, magazine and radio ads; and website and social media ads.
  3. Provides support to the employer brand by helping to create and maintain digital and print templated materials. This includes signage, advertising, and conference and event materials.
  4. Provides support to the recruitment team for website content updates.
  5. Generates reports and analyzes recruitment communications data to determine the effectiveness of social media and marketing tactics.
  6. Provides regular reports and recommendations to internal stakeholders for actions and continuous improvement based on findings.
  7. Supports additional Corporate Communications priorities including building Ledcor’s brand, and showcasing Ledcor’s people and culture.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration.
  2. 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role, developing and supporting external corporate communications or marketing.
  3. Excellent customer service and service compliant resolution skills.
  4. Strong communication and listening skills to deliver messages in a clear and compelling manner.
  5. Excellent attention to detail, with a high level of precision of data and accuracy in any deliverables.
  6. Ability to work efficiently in a high demand, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment.
  7. Flexible with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the organization.
  8. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  9. Strong sense of urgency as part of daily work style.
  10. Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Work Conditions:

  1. This position is a hybrid role, working both remotely and at the office once a week.

Compensation

$57,200 - $78,650 Annual
This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
