City of Mississauga is seeking a seasoned financial professional to support budgets and business plans, ensuring accuracy of financial statements and forecasts. The role involves monitoring variances, managing operating and capital portfolios, and developing models to support decision making.
Hybrid work requires onsite 3 days per week at Mississauga City Hall, Mississauga, ON. Core duties include leading budget processes, conducting financial analyses, and presenting to senior leadership.
Supports the preparation and presentation of budgets and business plan submissions while ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and forecasts. The role involves monitoring budget variances, managing complex operating and capital portfolios, and developing financial models to support decision making. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be onsite in the office 3 days per week and allowing remote work for the remaining days. Specific in-office days may be set by the team or department to support collaboration and business needs. Our offices are located at Mississauga City Hall, 300 City Centre Drive in Mississauga.
