Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

• Supporting the finance team/management with journal entries and accounting transactions, including, but not limited to, capital leases, taxes, cash reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and accruals
• Assisting the finance managerwith monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, as well as preparing and analyzing budget to actual variances monthly and quarterly
• Assisting the finance manager with preparing and executing external audits, SRED claims, budgets, tracking, and tax compliance
• Tracking invoices and assisting in document preparation for government funding
• Other duties as assigned

Education:

• Post secondary education in accounting or finance

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
• Criminal record check

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of full cycle accounting experience is required
• Experience with NetSuite is considered a huge asset

Base Salary:$65,000 – 80,000 per year

Work Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Flexible hybrid work environment after initial onboarding and orientation period (min. 3 days in office weekly is required)

Remote Work:

• This position operates on a hybrid work model.
