Job summary

Lake Shore Gold, a subsidiary of Pan American Silver, is hiring a Core Technician in Timmins, Ontario. This 12-month contract role requires relocation to the Timmins area and offers an hourly compensation range of $24.00-$28.00 based on qualifications and experience.

You will assist the geological crew with cutting and sampling core, moving core, packing samples, and completing shipment paperwork. Additional duties include delivering supplies and organizing drillcore storage at mine sites.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience as core technician or similar field.
• Strong safety record and commitment to safety.
• Eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Assist geological crew with cutting and sampling core.
• Move core and pack samples for shipment.
• Maintain documentation for shipments.
• Deliver supplies and organize drill core and sample storage at mine sites.
• Maintain core facility organization and support other duties.
