Job summary

Netflix Animation Studios in Vancouver seeks a Core Assets Technical Director to own tooling, pipeline troubleshooting, and artist support for modelling, rigging, and surfacing of characters and environments. You will shape workflows, write high-quality code, and partner with Solutions Engineering and R&D to enable creative excellence.

Applicants should have 5+ years as a TD in large productions, strong Python/C++ skills, and experience with Maya/Houdini, OpenUSD, and asset management

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven pipeline TD experience in large-scale animated features, animated series or VFX.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction and maintenance of core technology for Modelling, Rigging and Surfacing.
