We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic copywriter looking to do the best work of their career and join our growing team. They will work on our Ford account as part of a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative vision, exceptional skill in their field, and the ability to produce world-class work.

About the role

Are you the person we're looking for? We're looking for a copywriter with excellent storytelling, thinking, and conceptualization skills to blend lifestyle and product into entertaining and authentic content. You have an excellent understanding of the French-Canadian market and culture, and experience creating original content in French. You also have some experience adapting creative content from English to French, taking into account Quebec expressions, references, and idioms. You have a unique perspective and enjoy inviting others to see things differently. You thrive in a transparent and collaborative team, in an environment where all ideas are shared, listened to, and considered. You enjoy working as part of a team, are hungry to create powerful concepts and learn from them to build impactful content. Our ideal candidate is looking to gain experience writing for radio, digital audio platforms, television, social media, both short and long-form content, as well as adapting to different products and tones of voice. Requirements

  • Excellent bilingualism (English and French) and excellent command of French, its grammar, and spelling.
  • Passion for creative ideas and the ability to implement them from conception to final production. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry a definite asset.
  • Knowledge of current trends in marketing and advertising.
  • Some experience writing for television, online videos, audio scripts, as well as content of varying lengths for digital channels.
  • Ability to adapt your writing style to target audiences.
  • Experience in recording sessions and talent selection (actors, voice talent) an asset.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in copywriting, in an agency setting, or in a similar environment. Experience developing creative campaigns in an agency setting.
  • Some experience writing TV, digital, and audio scripts; proficient in translation and adaptation from English to French.
  • A passion for advertising and the automotive industry.
  • Experience presenting projects and concepts developed to clients.
  • Experience on set and in a studio (TV and radio) a plus.
  • Looking to gain experience leading audio recording sessions and provide clear and concise feedback and instructions to talent.
  • A degree in creative writing (CEGEP or university).
  • A portfolio representative of your best projects and thinking skills.
