This is a 6 month fixed term employee contract initially, with a likelihood of extension.

This role is part of our Personalised Content team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised, digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for our clients including eBay, Ancestry, Walmart, and more!

Job Purpose

As a Copywriter, you’ll be joining a nimble team that jumps in wherever the action is. Instead of being tied to one client, you’ll get to work across a variety of accounts—perfect for someone who thrives on variety, thinks on their feet, and enjoys solving problems without missing a beat. If you're adaptable, self-sufficient, and great at working with different personalities, you'll feel right at home here.

You will work across different digital channels, developing concepts and providing creative and innovative copy that drives clicks and engagement. Working closely with the wider copy team and our creative team, you’ll find yourself challenged to go beyond your comfort zone.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Create clear, effective, and original copy and content for our clients onsite marketing
  2. Develop creative ideas and concepts across various channels where applicable
  3. Adhere to clients' tone of voice and brand guidelines
  4. Research competitors and trends for creative inspiration
  5. Collaborate with design and account management
  6. Contribute to team creative brainstorms
What We Are Looking For
  1. Experience as a copywriter is a must, and a background in agency or brand is preferred
  2. Experience in the e-commerce/retail environment is a plus
  3. In-depth knowledge of multi-channel digital copy and brand development, especially a background in social media content and copywriting
  4. Ability to write compelling marketing and content copy that sells
  5. Confidence in working with other departments and stakeholders such as designers, developers, and clients
  6. Readiness to work at a fast pace on large marketing campaigns with many assets
  7. An understanding of the importance of consistency across different touchpoints of a user journey
  8. Ability to present work to large groups and communicate ideas clearly and enthusiastically
  9. A collaborative approach to getting things done
