Job description

This role is part of our Personalized Creative team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products, and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalized digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviors, and shift market share for our clients including eBay, Ancestry, Walmart, and more!

JOB PURPOSE:

As a copywriter, you’ll join our global copy team, which is made up of nearly 60 people worldwide. You’ll be writing and editing in-app content for a streaming platform—providing on-brand copy for synopses that drive views and engagement with global audiences.

Your focus will be reviewing, editing, and rewriting AI-generated synopses, as well as creating new content. You’ll ensure synopses are compelling, insightful, and accurate descriptions of each title. Working closely with Senior Copywriters and the Copy Lead, you’ll apply your creative and strategic skills daily.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Edit and rewrite AI-generated copy to align with brand guidelines and inform audiences of the title’s plot, tone, and genre.
  • Create compelling, effective original copy with clear objectives for titles worldwide.
  • Develop creative ideas and concepts across various channels where applicable.
  • Adhere to the client’s tone of voice and brand guidelines.
  • Research competitors and trends for creative inspiration.
  • Collaborate with fellow writers and account management.
  • Update internal documents to track feedback and brand nuances, ensuring consistency.

SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of experience as a copywriter is required.
  • Experience with editing and rewriting AI-generated content is essential.
  • Experience in the entertainment sector (film and television) is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of crafting copy that connects with audiences and drives conversions.
  • Detail-oriented, curious, research-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace on multiple assets daily.
  • Confidence in collaborating with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the importance of consistency across different user journey touchpoints.
  • Ability to present work confidently and communicate ideas clearly and enthusiastically.
  • Collaborative approach to teamwork and project completion.
