Job summary

Bond Brand Loyalty seeks a dynamic Coordinator, Social Media to manage day-to-day social content across platforms, including publishing, community management and reporting. The candidate should be digitally savvy, detail-oriented, and adaptable to shifting priorities.

This independent consultant engagement runs through the 2026–2027 season with a base of 26 CAD hourly, requiring frequent on-site work and collaboration with internal teams to maintain brand voice and audience engagement.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years’ experience in social media, digital marketing, or client-focused environments.
  • Ability to work onsite frequently, including evenings and weekends.
  • Experience supporting social content across multiple platforms with planning, publishing, monitoring and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, X, and other platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social trends, formats and audience behaviours.
  • Ability to manage content calendars, approvals, timelines and multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of hockey and basketball considered an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong brand voice and attention to detail.
  • Adaptable, proactive and collaborative with client-service skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and publish content across all social platforms.
  • Upload captions, tags, links, and platform-specific formatting.
  • Ensure content is published according to content calendar.
  • Monitor comments, messages, and fan interactions; escalate as needed.
  • Engage with audience following brand guidelines.
  • Track frequently asked questions and audience feedback.
  • Pull clips and organize footage; assist with content requests.
  • Assist with monthly reporting and data collection; track performance metrics.
  • Support on-site content execution at events.
  • Email management and ticketing for internal processes.

This role requires a dynamic and highly organized Coordinator, Social Media, who will support the day-to-day execution of social content across multiple platforms, including publishing, community management, content coordination and performance reporting. The ideal candidate is digitally savvy, detail-oriented and highly adaptable, with a strong understanding of social platforms, brand voice and audience engagement. They bring a proactive, collaborative approach and thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities and content needs can shift quickly.

Contract Type

This opportunity is structured as an independent consultant engagement, providing contingent resource support throughout the client’s 2026–2027 season.

Compensation

The expected base compensation for this engagement is $26.00 CAD hourly.

Job Requirements
  • 2–3 years’ experience in social media, digital marketing, communications or client-focused environments; agency and/or consumer brand experience an asset.
  • Ability to work onsite frequently, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Experience supporting social content and campaigns across multiple platforms, including planning, publishing, monitoring and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and X, and other social media platforms as required.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms, trends, emerging formats and audience behaviours.
  • Proven ability to manage content calendars, approvals, timelines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Knowledge of hockey and basketball considered an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong eye for brand voice, tone, accuracy and detail.
  • Highly adaptable, proactive and collaborative, with strong client-service skills and the ability to work effectively across internal and external teams.
  • Digitally savvy, with experience using social media management and reporting tools and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
