Job summary

Skyservice Business Aviation Inc. in Dorval, QC, seeks an experienced Maintenance Planner/Inspector to coordinate major aircraft inspections and oversee the work package flow.

You will coordinate materials, tooling, and outside services; track milestones with the Project Manager; contribute to problem solving; and ensure technical documentation and log releases are completed accurately. The role includes a 5-5-4 day rotation.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid M2 Transport Canada AME license.
• Minimum five years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365.
• Solid understanding of CARs.
• Experience planning and coordinating maintenance activities.
• Strong customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate major inspections on aircrafts and participate in related meetings.
• Maintain oversight of the full inspection work package and manage inspection flow.
• Review work packages and coordinate materials, parts, tooling and outside services.
• Identify and track milestones with the Project Manager.
• Participate in problem solving and develop solutions.
• Assess defects and provide rectification information.
• Complete relevant technical documentation.
• Support purchasing when applicable; review invoices for accuracy.
• Review work packs, billing groups and log releases for accuracy.
• Handle all technical documentation and log releases.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
• This position involves a 5-5-4 rotation Day Shift.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Valid M2 Transport Canada AME License;
• Minimum of five (5) years related experience in aircraft maintenance;
• Strong computer skills focused on Microsoft 365 programs;
• Possess a solid understanding of CAR's;
• Proven experience with planning and coordinating aircraft maintenance activities;
• Strong Customer service abilities;
• Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
• Team player.

EDUCATION:

• Completed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer program or equivalent
