Job summary

Suncrest College is seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator to monitor workplace safety, develop and implement health and safety plans, and enforce policies to create a culture of safety. You will train staff and collaborate with Learner Services, Facilities Manager and Program Supervisors to tailor practices for each program.

The role requires a relevant post-secondary diploma or Canadian CRSP designation, with at least two years in a similar role, and valid Saskatchewan licensing.

Qualifications

• Relevant post-secondary diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Canadian Registered Safety Professional designation.
• Experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
• WHMIS 2015, WCB, OHC Certification and/or VTRA Certification an asset.
• Valid Saskatchewan Driver's License.
• Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required.

• Develop and execute health and safety plans and procedures.
