Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, digital media, or related field.
  • 2+ years of content creation experience in sports, entertainment, or related industries.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or similar tools; strong photography and videography skills.

Responsibilities

  • Capture and produce dynamic photo and video content at games, practices, community events, and team activities for all Toronto Rock entities.
  • Develop creative, on-brand content for social media, website, in-arena presentation, sponsorship, and campaigns across media forms.
  • Write compelling copy for social posts, video scripts, and digital features.
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and game presentation teams to drive ticket sales, engagement, and brand awareness.
  • Edit and deliver short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook.
  • Assist with planning and execution of content calendars and campaigns throughout the season.
  • Stay current with digital trends and sports content to keep the brand fresh.
  • Represent the team professionally at events, interacting with players, staff, fans, and media.

REPORTS TO: Director of Communications & Lacrosse Operations

HOURS OF WORK: Full-Time, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday to Friday and some weekends as required

Organizational Overview:

Toronto Rock Lacrosse Inc. is seeking a Coordinator, Creative Services to join our dynamic Business Operations team.The Toronto Rock Group, headquartered in Oakville, Ontario, includes the professional Lacrosse Club who are members of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), the Toronto Rock Athletics (leagues, facility rentals), Toronto Rock Sports Medicine & Wellness Centre, The Quarry (high-performance training facility), and Rock Lax Shop (equipment, gear & apparel).The Toronto Rock Lacrosse Club play their home games at TD Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario and are the defending NLL Champions entering the 2026-2027 season.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Communications & Lacrosse Operations, the Coordinator, Creative Services should be highly motivated and creative responsible for producing engaging, high-quality content that showcases the Toronto Rock group of companies, strengthens the organization’s brand, and drives fan engagement and revenue across all platforms and outlets. The ideal candidate is a passionate storyteller with strong skills in photography, videography, graphic design, and social media.

Responsibilities:

  • Capture and produce dynamic photo and video content at games, practices, community events, and team activities as they relate to the Toronto Rock.Additionally, creating those same assets for the other arms of the Toronto Rock family of companies.
  • Develop creative, on-brand content for social media, website, in-arena presentation, sponsorship, and marketing campaigns across different forms of media including photography, graphic, and video creation and editing.
  • Write compelling copy for social posts, video scripts, and digital features.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, communications, and game presentation teams to execute content strategies that drive ticket sales, engagement, and brand awareness.
  • Edit and deliver short-form and long-form video content optimized for different platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook).
  • Assist with the planning and execution of content calendars and campaigns throughout the season.
  • Stay current with digital trends, pop culture, and sports content to keep the Rock brand fresh and innovative.
  • Represent the team professionally at events, interacting with players, staff, fans, and media.

Qualifications/Experience Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, digital media, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in content creation, preferably in sports, entertainment, or related industries.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and/or similar tools.
  • Strong photography and videography skills, including experience with DSLR/mirrorless cameras and editing software.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, analytics, and trends.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the NLL season including some travel.
  • Passion for sports and storytelling, with a strong understanding of the Toronto Rock brand and lacrosse culture.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Compensation:

Base Salary range: $45,000 to $55,000 based on relevant experience
