Job summary

Qualifications

Qualifications : EN :

General Description of the Role :

The role of Project Coordinator is to support our customers from project commencement through to delivery.

Specific Tasks :

  • Provides ongoing support to inside sales and to reps
  • Resolves project issues between design firms, sales representatives, and production
  • Participates actively and regularly in team meetings
  • Provides accurate reports on the status of projects and proposes solutions to issues
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
  • Reviews deliverables prepared by the team before passing to the client
  • Minimizes the company's exposure and risk on projects by delivering on-time solutions, propositions, and ideas
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Responsible for the accuracy of data in the system related to POs (purchasing orders)
  • Defines project tasks and resource requirements
  • Constantly monitors and reports on project progress to all stakeholders

Qualifications : EN :

  • Experience : Minimum 3 years in customer service; experience in the lighting industry and / or project management is a definite asset
  • Software : Office, Excel (intermediate / advanced), ERP software (EPICOR)
  • Skills : Knowledge of LED lighting and electrical codes is an asset; basic understanding of electrically wired devices; ability to read floor plans
  • Other : Willingness to learn, embrace ongoing learning, customer focus, strong communication and negotiation skills (verbal and written), good attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, ability to supervise project timelines, work independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Languages : French and English; English is essential for communication and support outside Quebec
