Job summary

The Produce Cooler Keeper at T&T Supermarket Inc. is responsible for managing the produce storage area, including coolers, and for delivering friendly customer service by fulfilling requests and maintaining inventory.

You will handle receiving, quality inspections, FIFO displays, labeling, and cleanliness across storage, display, and walk-in coolers, ensuring safe and efficient operations in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• Be prepared to stand long periods.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Work in a cold environment (0–4 °C) regularly.
• Knowledge of basic work safety.
• Relevant experience in handling produce preferred.
• Friendly and customer-focused with flexibility to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the receiving of products, conduct quality inspections and place products in the store.
• Maintain inventory and product quality; follow FIFO; ensure proper display of products.
• Sort, pack, and label various produce products and place them in the storage & promotion coolers.
• Maintain storage area cleanliness, and ensure that relevant work tools are clean and well-kept.
• Keep warehouse, display and walk-in coolers clean and tidy.
• Follow procedures to process produce inventory control reports.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Produce Department Head (or his/her delegates), the Produce Cooler Keeper is responsible for managing produce storage area, including coolers. The position also requires providing good customer service to our customers by fulfilling their requests, maintaining inventory and ensuring workplace cleanliness.

You Will

• Manage the receiving of products, conduct quality inspections and place products in the store
• Maintain inventory and product quality; follow FIFO principle; and ensure proper display of various products
• Sort, pack, and label various produce products and place them in the storage & promotion coolers
• Maintain storage area cleanliness, and ensure that relevant work tools are clean and well-kept
• Keep warehouse, display and walk-in coolers clean and tidy
• Follow procedures to process produce inventory control reports
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

You Should Have / Be

• Be prepared to stand long periods and to handle products with hands-on task, including lifting products of up to 40 pounds regularly
• Be prepared to work in low temperature (0-4 ℃) environment regularly
• Knowledge of basic work safety
• Not allergic to handling produce products
• Relevant experience in handling produce products is preferred
• Friendly and have a passion for serving our customers
• Flexible to work in shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evening hours and statutory holidays
