T&T Supermarket Inc. is seeking a Produce Clerk to prepare and stock fresh produce, ensuring quality and presentation. You will assist customers with selections, maintain FIFO inventory, and keep display cases clean and organized.

This role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 pounds, and working in a refrigerated environment. Shift work including weekdays, weekends, and holidays is required; prior experience handling produce is preferred but not mandatory.

• Work in low-temperature environments (0–4 C) regularly
• Not allergic to handling produce products
• Knowledge of basic work safety

• Maintain inventory and product freshness by following FIFO; ensure full display of various produce products
• Perform regular quality checks; process sub-standard products and manage shrinkage
• Prepare produce for sales activities: sorting, cutting, washing, weighing, packing and labeling
• Display produce items in cases and ensure attractive presentation
• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service; assist in product selection and recommendations
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and keep tools and display areas clean
• Keep display cases and walk-in coolers clean and tidy

Reporting to the Produce Department Head (or his/her delegates), this position is responsible for preparing various produce products in advance for customers to choose from. The position also requires stocking produce onto the display cases in the sales area, following the FIFO concept, provide good customer service to our customers by fulfilling their requests, and maintaining inventory and workplace cleanliness.

You Will

• Maintain inventory and product freshness by following FIFO concept; ensure the full display of various produce products
• Preform regular quality check, follow procedures to process sub-standard products and manage shrinkage
• Prepare various produce for sales activities, including but not limited to sorting, cutting, washing, weighing, packing and labeling various produce products and displaying them in the display cases
• Greet customers with good customer service, smiles, and friendly enthusiasm
• Assist customers in produce product selection and provide recommendations as required
• Maintain workplace cleanliness by keeping relevant work tools clean and well-kept
• Keep display cases and walk-in coolers clean and tidy

You Should Have / Be

• Flexible to work in shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings and statutory holidays
• Be prepared to stand for long periods, handle products hands-on, and lift products of up to 40 pounds on a regular basis; able to use work-related tools in a safe manner.
• Be prepared to work in low-temperature (0-4 ℃) environments regularly
• Not allergic to handling produce products
• Knowledge of basic work safety
• Relevant experience in handling produce products is preferred
