Job summary

Toujours Mikes in Lévis, QC is seeking a cook to prepare and cook our recipes, ensuring taste, presentation and adherence to time frames. You will maintain cleanliness, store groceries properly, and follow hygiene and safety rules in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the various menu items in accordance with the Toujours Mikes recipes and their established time frames.
• Prepare the food for the service of the dishes.
• Maintain consistency in the quality of the preparation in terms of taste, appearance and degree of cooking of the dishes.
• Unpack and store groceries in refrigerators, storerooms and other storage areas.
• Store products and preparations according to shelf life and stock rotation.
• Apply hygiene and sanitation rules as well as occupational health and safety rules.
• Ensure the cleanliness and constant organization of his or her workstation.
