Role Description

This is an on-site,Part-time almost full-time Cook/Cuisinier role located in Regina, SK. The Cook/Cuisinier will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Additional responsibilities include assisting with food inventory management, receiving and storing deliveries, and collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in meal preparation and cooking, with knowledge in diverse culinary techniques.
• Ability to maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization according to safety and sanitation standards.
• Skills in food inventory management and handling deliveries.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with kitchen staff.
• Formal culinary training or certification is beneficial.
• Previous experience in a senior living facility or healthcare environment is an asset.
