Job summary

SIGA's Living Sky Casino in Swift Current, Saskatchewan is seeking a dedicated cook to help deliver quality, value-priced dining for casino guests.

You will season and cook a variety of foods, maintain a clean work environment, and follow safe food handling standards while collaborating with a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations for restaurant, catering and deli needs.

Job description

This position delivers quality, value priced dining, by cooking food to meet restaurant, catering and deli needs.

Responsibilities

Seasoning and cooking food in a wide variety of preparations. Carrying out general cleaning and kitchen maintenance. Strictly following established processes and standards for safe food production and handling. Working effectively as part of a team, to ensure the safe and efficient preparation of food. Handling other related tasks as required, to produce quality meals for Casino guests.

Qualifications

Combination of relevant education, training and/or experience. Food Safe Handling Certificate. Experience working is a commercial kitchen would be preferred. Experience working with diverse situations and personalities.
