Marquise is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook food per standards, ensuring consistent quality and safety in a high-volume kitchen.

The role requires proven cooking experience, a Food Safety Certification, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Proven cooking experience in restaurant or prep cook roles.
• Food Safety Certification required.
• Certificate from a recognized cooking school.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, pre-cook and/or cook food as directed.
• Prepare mise en place and other products for high volume production.
• Clean kitchen equipment after use according to safety policies.
• Label, date, store and rotate food and beverages properly.
• Communicate effectively with all appropriate departments.
• Report maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned or directed.

Description

The hourly wage for this position is $27.56 - (base pay + SSO wage*) *Base $22.55 + $5.01/hr. SSO wage) *Single Site Order (SSO) is subject to the direction of government and may be discontinued at any time.

Prepares food in accordance with applicable corporate standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service is provided at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare, pre-cook and/or cook food products as directed.
• Prepare "mise en place" (setting in place of foods, garnishes, sauces, dishes, cutlery, etc) and other products as required for high volume production.
• Clean kitchen equipment after use according to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Label, date, store and rotate food and beverage products in appropriate storage areas.
• Communicate effectively with all appropriate operational departments.
• Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
