Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes
• Prepare ingredients and complete daily food preparation tasks
• Ensure consistency, quality and presentation standards are maintained
• Assist with menu preparation and daily service requirements
• Maintain inventory and communicate ingredient requirements to management
• Follow food safety, sanitation and workplace safety procedures
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, workstations and food preparation areas
• Receive and properly store food deliveries
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen and front-of-house team members

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a commercial kitchen
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• FoodSafe Level 1 certification is considered an asset
