Job summary

Aramark at Carleton University’s Teraanga Commons Dining Hall is hiring full-time Cooks to prepare high-quality food in a fast-paced environment. You’ll interact with customers at times, follow recipes, and uphold safety and sanitation standards.

You'll lead on-floor service, ensure consistency, and contribute to waste control, inventory, and cleaning. A criminal background check is required after selection. Benefits include health coverage and employee recognition programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional customer service at all times.
• Assist with controlling waste and spoilage.
• Assist with culinary auditing, and food safety measures.
• Assist with weekly inventory.
• Maintain continual cleaning and sanitizing of surrounding work area.
• Ensure adherence to all Aramark Policies and Procedures.

We are hiring full-time Cooks to join our team at the Teraanga Commons Dining Hall on Carleton University campus. Our Cooks are responsible for preparing high-quality food, sometimes in front of the customer at action stations, and will require strong customer service skills.
