Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook for the Food Service Department at École Rive-Nord. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with immediate start and starting pay at $20.00 per hour based on experience.

Duties include food preparation, service, and cash handling, with responsibilities in inventory, records, and compliance. Qualifications include 2–3 years in food service as an asset, ability to work under peak pressure, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry is an asset.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service periods.
• Experience with the Expério cash register system is an asset.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of foods following production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Participate in inventory counts
• Assist with meal service
• Operate the cash register when required
• Reconcile cash receipts and sales transactions
• Coordinate the work of the staff under their supervision (3 employees)
• Complete production, temperature, waste, and other operational records
• Comply with all health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in accordance with applicable legislation, company policies and procedures, and MAPAQ regulations

Salary: Starting at $20.00 per hour, based on experience, to be discussed during the interview.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (following the school calendar)
