Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Pastry Cook for Carleton University’s Teraanga Commons Dining Hall on campus in Ottawa. You will prepare a broad range of high-quality baked goods in an open kitchen, supporting the Chef and maintaining consistent quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pastry preparation and baking duties under supervision of the Chef.
• Ensure consistent quality, preparation, and presentation of food.
• Assist with recipe-based baking and food preparation.
• Assist with controlling waste and spoilage.
• Assist with culinary auditing, and food safety measures.
• Assist with weekly inventory.
• Maintain continual cleaning and sanitizing of surrounding work area.
• Ensure adherence to all of Aramark Policies and Procedures.
• May perform other job duties as required.
