Job summary

LawDepot in Edmonton is seeking a Product Optimization Specialist to drive projects that enhance conversions, retention, and revenue. You will lead discovery through launch, collaborate with Product, Design, Research, and Analytics, and employ CRO and AI-assisted planning to improve the customer journey.

This full-time, 37.5-hour-per-week role offers hybrid work from our Edmonton office and a focus on data-informed decision making and rapid experimentation.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Digital Media, Marketing, Web Development, Business, Project Management, Communications, or related field
  • Experience in digital project coordination, conversion optimization, product operations, web production, or website management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to independently plan, organize, coordinate, and execute multiple projects from discovery through launch
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Attention to detail with consideration of immediate and broader impacts
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Product, Design, Research, Analytics, Content, Legal, Development)
  • Experience using analytics and BI platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI) to monitor performance
  • Understanding of conversion rate optimization, A/B testing, web experimentation, and data-informed decision-making
  • Technical aptitude to work with development teams, sprints, QA, and handoffs
  • Learning agility and initiative; ability to adopt new tools and processes
  • Self-directed approach to move projects forward while balancing quality and speed
  • Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity, research, planning, and decision-making

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple projects to improve the customer experience from discovery to launch
  • Translate opportunities into clear project plans, timelines, and deliverables
  • Organize cross-functional projects across Product, Design, Research, Analytics, Content, Legal, and Development
  • Support conversion and retention initiatives across the customer journey
  • Coordinate developer handoffs, dependencies, reviews, and sprint activities
  • Build and update website layouts, templates, and CMS content experiences
  • Apply CRO and experimentation principles for A/B tests and product improvements
  • Work with analytics to monitor performance, interpret results, and plan next steps
  • Maintain project backlogs with clear scope, documentation, and readiness
  • Prepare updates, specifications, and post-launch learnings for stakeholders
  • Identify edge cases and downstream impacts for high-quality delivery
  • Use AI tools to accelerate planning, research, prioritization, and ideation
  • Create early wireframes or prototypes to communicate concepts
  • Review usability/content/formatting issues before release
  • Contribute to rapid experimentation culture and new hypotheses
