Job summary

ISL Engineering and Land Services Ltd. is seeking a Controller to lead the finance function for a ~600-employee organization supporting Western Canadian infrastructure projects.

You will own financial reporting integrity, drive process improvements and mentor a skilled accounting team in collaboration with the CFO and senior leaders. You will oversee month-end close, budgeting, and planning, while partnering with operations and project leadership on performance, forecasting, and controls.

Qualifications

• CPA designation and a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance are required.
• 8+ years of Controller level experience in a leadership role is expected.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and external reporting is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close with the finance team.
• Oversee external audits and coordinate deliverables.
• Partner with CFO and senior managers on strategic financial planning.
