  • Lead annual operating and capital budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity monitoring; provide budget-to-actual analysis, support funding proposals, and develop financial models for program and organizational decisions.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls, finance policies, and procedures across cash handling, procurement, payables, payroll interfaces, expense reimbursements, approval authorities, and program sites.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, banking, corporate credit cards, participant trust accounting, debt servicing, insurance renewals, and the financial review of contracts.
  • Lead finance systems and process improvements following the transition to NetSuite, strengthening financial close, reporting, accuracy, timeliness, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team through clear performance expectations, work allocation, cross-training, recruitment, onboarding, and professional development while modelling e4c’s values of courage, compassion, connection, and commitment.
