Job summary

Purolator is seeking a Control Room Supervisor in Saint-Laurent, QC, to lead the control room operations and ensure safe yard coordination. You will manage day-to-day activities, implement policies, and drive performance improvements across Warehouse/Sort facilities.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in supervisory roles, strong English communication, and experience with warehouse environments and lean practices. This is an on-site role reporting to the Senior Manager Operations.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary qualification in business.
• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory/management role leading 10–13 employees.
• 5 years’ control room experience.
• Experience in a warehouse/sortation facility and automated sortation.
• Lean methodologies – Yellow/Green Belt Certification (asset).
• Strong English communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies with yard operations to ensure safe coordination of vehicles in and out of the yard.
• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the control room.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for control room to function effectively and efficiently.
• Manage administration and operating standards including budget planning and analyzing reports on control room productivity.
• Oversee the service delivery of the control room to the Warehouse/Sort facility and field operations.
• Oversee timely ISO audits within the control room.
• Manage escalations within the control room.
• Manage execution of projects related to the control room.
• Achieve objectives outlined in the operational scorecard.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and drive continuous improvement within the control room.
• Provide direction, leadership, and coaching to teams.
