Job summary

You will support daily operations, train teammates, and help implement efficient processes while collaborating with employees and contractors to ensure reliable utility services.

Qualifications

• Experience with dispatch, control centres, or technical environments is an asset.
• Interested in growing into a leadership role.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.
• Comfortable making day-to-day decisions and solving problems.
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office).

• Exposure to operations, planning, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Control Centre operations to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
• Answer questions and help resolve issues for Resource Associates.
• Assist with training and supporting team members on roles and expectations.
• Organize documentation and keep procedures up to date.
• Communicate challenges, updates, and progress to the Manager, Control Centre.
• Help implement new processes by documenting, training, and supporting the team.
• Collaborate with employees and contractors for smooth operations.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to help the team perform at their best.
• Develop decision-making, communication, and people-management skills.
• Participate in planning discussions and contribute ideas for process improvement.
