Job summary

Fusion Fuel Cycles in Ottawa is seeking a Contracts Specialist to own contract administration, document control, and operational coordination across stakeholders. The role works closely with the COO, project leadership, and engineering to ensure obligations, deliverables, and processes are clearly defined, tracked, and executed.

This hybrid position requires a diploma or degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience in contract or project administration, procurement, or commercial

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in contract administration, project administration, procurement, commercial management, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience managing project documentation, records, logs, and correspondence.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Support management of the contract deliverables and payment schedule.
  • Organize Change notices, Change directives & Change Orders & ensure timely sign off.
  • Manage the project change logs.
  • Organize and store contract & project documents.
  • Attend regular project meetings and log minutes of the meetings.
  • Manage invoicing and contract payments.
  • Have in depth knowledge of all assigned contracts.
  • Advise the Project Manager of disputes & disallowable costs.
  • Review invoices for contract compliance.
  • Support contract discussions on all assigned projects.
  • Manage project RFI’s, responses & logs.

Job Summary

The Contracts Specialist supports project execution and corporate operations by owning document control, contract administration, and operational coordination across multiple stakeholders. The role works closely with the COO, project leadership, and engineering to ensure contractual obligations, deliverables, and operational processes are clearly defined, tracked, and executed.

This is a hybrid role with minimum of 2 days in office in the Ottawa area.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Contracts Specialist is responsible for supporting the core operational, contractual, and document-control processes that support Fusion Fuel Cycles’ projects activities.

Contract Administration and Document Management
  • Support management of the contract deliverables and payment schedule.
  • Organize Change notices, Change directives & Change Orders & ensure timely sign off.
  • Manage the project change logs.
