AMA Driver Education in Medicine Hat is seeking contracted Class 5 Driving Instructors to empower new drivers. You’ll be your own boss with support from AMA’s large student base, teaching in-vehicle instruction and earning hourly pay plus bonuses.

Paid training to obtain licensure in about 3 months, with a signing bonus of $2,500 and startup-cost assistance. Own your business, provide high‑quality instruction, and grow with AMA Driver Education.

Qualifications

• You hold a Provincial Driving Instructor Licence (Class 5) from Alberta Transportation.
• You have held a Class 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 licence for at least 3 years.
• You have a clean driver’s abstract.
• You own a vehicle.
• You can cover required start-up costs after training and obtaining your instructor license (vehicle add-ons, SEF 6D Endorsement insurance, and incorporating).
• Incorporation will be required upon hire and a WCB number will be required after training.

(Don’t worry, training will be provided to suitable candidates who don’t have this certification.)You’ve had a Class 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 licence for a minimum of 3 years.Ability to obtain a Class 4 licence.You have a clean driver’s abstract.You have your own vehicle.You can cover required start-up costs after completing training and acquiring your instructor license (vehicle add-ons, SEF 6D Endorsement insurance, and incorporating).Please note – being incorporated will be required upon hire and obtaining a WCB number will be required upon completion of training.We’re always on the lookout for great talent!
