Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd in West London is seeking an experienced Contract Surveyor to join a social housing provider on a temp-to-perm basis. You will manage contractors, review valuations and costs, and ensure contract compliance.

The role covers planned works, larger complex projects, and the PPM programme, including Damp, Mould and Condensation works. A housing/ surveying background and strong contractor management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• This role requires experience in social housing, housing associations or local authorities.
• Strong track record in contract and contractor management.
• Experience with planned works, PPM or capital programmes.
• Knowledge of valuations, costs, variations and disputes.
• Experience managing Damp, Mould and Condensation works.
• Excellent communication, commercial and organisational skills.
• A relevant surveying or construction qualification is desirable.

Contract Surveyor - Social Housing

Location: West London
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000
Contract: Temp to Perm

We are recruiting for an experienced Contract Surveyor to join a social housing provider in West London on a temp-to-perm basis.

The role will involve managing contractors and contract performance, reviewing valuations and costs, managing variations and disputes, monitoring KPIs and ensuring contractual compliance.

You will also oversee planned works and larger complex projects, support the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme, and manage Damp, Mould and Condensation (DMC) works.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience within social housing, housing associations or local authorities.




• Strong contract and contractor management experience.




• Experience with planned works, PPM or capital programmes.




• Knowledge of valuations, costs, variations and disputes.




• Experience managing Damp, Mould and Condensation works.




• Strong communication, commercial and organisational skills.

This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for an experienced surveyor looking for a long-term role within social housing, offering £55,000-£60,000.
