Zusammenfassung

Vancouver Pile Driving Ltd. (VanPile) seeks a Contract Specialist to support a major AltaGas project in Prince Rupert, BC.

This 12-month fly-in fly-out contract operates on a 14 days on / 7 days off schedule, with company-paid travel and accommodations. You will manage contracts from tender through close-out, identify and mitigate contractual risks, support subcontract procurement, and ensure compliance across project teams.

Qualifikationen

• 5-10 years of contract administration, subcontract management, or commercial experience in construction.
• Strong understanding of construction contract formation and administration.
• Experience with CCDC Contracts, CCA Standard Documents, service and subcontract agreements.
• Knowledge of construction insurance, bonding, and risk management practices.

Aufgaben

• Provide contractual support and advice to project teams, management, and estimating personnel.
• Review, analyze, and administer project contracts, service agreements, purchase agreements, leases, NDAs, rental agreements.
• Proactively identify contractual risks and mitigate them.
• Assist in developing standardized contractual language and processes.
• Support management of claims, disputes, contract changes, and negotiations.
• Ensure obligations flow down to subcontractors and vendors.
• Coordinate with estimating during tender phases to review requirements.
