Job summary

Clearview Outpatient in Ontario is seeking a Contractor Psychiatrist to join our growing team. The role involves clinical supervision of psychiatric nurse practitioners, performing psychiatric evaluations, medication consultation and collaboration with community prescribers.

The ideal candidate holds board eligibility or board certification in psychiatry, with strong communication skills and experience in behavioral health settings.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board-certified psychiatrist with CA license or eligibility.
• Experience with PHP/IOP or psychiatric hospital setting desired.
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and staff.
• Minimum of two years of behavioral health management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise psychiatric nurse practitioners.
• Co-sign documentation as required.
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations for PHP.
• Provide medication management weekly or as needed.
• Collaborate with staff on clinical activities.
• Consult with community referrals when needed.
• Complete medical records accurately and timely.
• Participate in marketing and outreach events.
